It seems that some folks want to get rid of California's State Rock. Well, not get rid of the rock, but remove its official designation. Why?

As a NYT points out, it seems there's a low level of asbestos in the rock. A different asbestos than that in insulation that caused cancers, and at a much lower level, but that's enough for a political hack ( Read more... )
